The excellent Dr. Christian Jessen (@DoctorChristian) joins me on this week’s #GSPodcast. He’ll be telling us all about the ridiculous notion of ‘gay cures’, what they involve and what motivates their proponents (SPOILER: religion). Dr Christian underwent some of these ‘therapies’ as part of his superb documentary ‘Undercover Doctor: Cure Me I’m Gay’. Some are horrific, others are just plain absurd. He’ll be guiding us through them and explaining why they’re harmful and unscientific.
We also touch on the notion of ‘no platforming’, quackery, homeopathy, Embarrassing Bodies, the lack of ‘out’ professional football players and much, much more!
