  • I never thought I’d see fanatical, puritanical religion rise in this country.
I never thought there would be killings because of this.
I never thought that those opposed to the fanaticism could ever be regarded as the villains.

Thanks guys, I love your podcasts (more Scotsman Abroad please).

I have a suspicion that because Maajid and Hirsi Ali have appeared on Right leaning news organisations such as Fox News and debated with regressives that the SPLC supports is the reason they are on this list. Regressive Leftists hate being called out on their BS and have no problems throwing actual progressives under the bus when they feel challenged.

If anyone want to let them know how they feel about this I’ve posted their contact info below.

  • Hi folks thanks for another fun podcast( missing scots man though ).
Regarding comments about Maajid Nawaz, I too have been listening to him on LBC and found it to be a breath of fresh air, a muslim robustly taking on other muslim voices, however I was disappointed with Masjid for his silence to comments from two muslim callers.
One caller in defence of islam quoted a verse somthing like ” killing one man is like killing all of mankind “, almost everyone I know is aware how miss interpreted this verse when quoted by apologists muslims and Maajid’s silance was deafening.

Another caller on the topic of India/Pakistan relations commented that ” it’s not Pakistan’s fault as it has no choice of choosing its neighbour “. Again Maajid gave no comment, don’t these people have no knowledge of history that Pakistan was born out of India!

Maajid clearly has work to do but feel he is on the right path and hope regressive liberals will follow.

    Thanks
