A really pleasant surprise that at least Noel has the balls and brains to come out and tell it like it is – I also will retroactively retract my preference for Blur. Also about time that comedy god Larry David is mocking Islam, but haven’t seen it yet so didn’t want to read the whole thing. Let’s hope the tide starts to turn and it’s not too little too late

There is no justification for it, ISIS are open about their motivation (and it’s not that) and of course that ‘argument’ always falls apart when you ask what Western interventions provoked 911.

“Hippy?” The hippies were wrong about….nothing. I and most of my hippy friends thought religion was ridiculous. Now, moving on to these horrendous, monstrous lunatics like the Manchester bomber, it’s needless to say that they’re the scum of the earth, although words aren’t capable of expressing strong enough condemnation. Having said that – maybe the West’s strategy of dropping bombs from airplanes on Middle Eastern people might be one that, at some point, could merit another look. I hope that offering that suggestion doesn’t make it sound like I’m making excuses for the sick, hateful maniacs I referenced ten seconds ago, or, “God” forbid – that I’m being un-patriotic.
