  • Hi, long time listener here, keep up the great work!
    At around the 1 hour mark you made a comment about MLK in the context of movie producers adding minorities to film to cure racism. Now I agree that it often goes too far (see that weird Mary Queen of Scots film from last year that cast black and Asian actors as English lords) but, ironically, MLK did ask Nichelle Nichols who played the role of Lt. Uhura to stay on Star Trek because she was showing America an image of black people that hadn’t been seen on TV before. So he believed representation does matter in helping cure social ills sometimes, but again I agree with you that the far Left gets confused and over does it often to the point of ruining the very stories that should be told. (I’ve linked a WP article on what MLK said to Nichlos below).
